About Taipei

Living in a big city has many advantages. I live in Taipei, the largest city in Taiwan. It is a very exciting city. You can never run out of things to do. There are many movie theaters, restaurants, parks, department stores, convenience stores, coffee shops, Internet coffee shops and many other interesting places to visit. On the other hand, living in Taipei has its disadvantages. The air pollution, noise, and traffic are terrible. There is also a lot more crime in the city. Even though, I still love Taipei where I was bron after all.

Change New Dormitory

Today, most of the first grade students in Chang Gung have to choose the new dormitory in Gi-Dex building where we will live in next semester. On the other hand, some of the students may change the different roommates just like me. The reason I change new roommates is not that I hate them, but that we are in different classes. Because it is more convenient to live with in same class, including studying and playing together. I wish I will cast a good room!

About this Picture

This photograph is shot in the mountain, and maple leaves prolific in this season. In front of the photo, there is a huge, colorful Christmas tree. On the tree there are many neon lights including blue and red. And the most attractive thing is the yellow star on the top of the tree. It may symbol that Christmas day is coming.
In back of the tree, there are many people and vendors. The vendors have white roofs, and looked pretty and retro-chic. I think that everyone should be willing to purchase with them. Next to these vendors is a building like an outdoor restaurant. I like the feeling which is eating within nature, maybe the food can become more delicious.
In the background of the photo, there are lots kinds of trees, and in middle of these trees is a tall maple tree. Differ from other trees, maple leaves’ color are red, just like general leaf’s color of drooping. Maples usually grow in fall and winter. At this time it’s always cold and cheerless. I like this weather because I can’t endure the hot weather. It makes me muggy and irritable.
I don’t know where the photograph is taken, but I enjoy it very much. Perhaps one day I will visit this place, and have some precious memories.

Pirates of The Caribbean

Movie"Pirates of the Caribbean" 3rd, At World's End, is coming! Tonight my classmates and I go to Shimenting to see this movie. The movie totally plays 3 hours, and my thought is: first, I can not understand it's story thoroughly. The relationship of persons is too complex to know what they do. Second, I think the jokes in this movie are not really fun. Sometimes they can make people feel boring. Therefore, I still like Pirates of the Caribbean 1st better than 3rd.

Summer is Coming

Recently, It is obvious that the weather is too hot to get used to in Chang Gung. In dormitory, most people prefer studying in reading center than playing computer in own rooms because of the air-conditions. To make matters worse, it's only the begining of summer at present, it will become hotter and perhaps the temperature will be up to 35o C. I hope that summer vacation will come quickly, because I can drink cold drinking at air-condition room.

Father's Birthday

Today is my father's birthday, but unfortunately, he traveled on official business last week. So, my mother takes my older brother and me to airport to greet him in afternoon. He looks happy when we meet him at Customs, and then we go to coffee shop to celebrate his birthday. First, We order a small cake which looks delicious, then we say "happy birthday" to him. Finally, My father say this is a good experience for him, and he appreciates us for celebrating his birthday.

Mother's Day

Today is Mother's Day which is one of the important festivals for many people, because mothers always take care of us without requirement. Same in the past, I buy some carnation and prepare a delicate card for my mother. Differ from past, I also buy Sing-Ya's "Dorayaki"(星野銅鑼燒) due to my mother like to eat snake very much. Although I spend three hours falling in, but when she received this present, I can feel that she is really happy and touched.

Basketball For Me

My favorite activity is playing basketball. I started playing when I was in elementary school. Now I play basketball twice a week, although the weather is hot recently. It is good for me both physically and mentally. Physically, it helps me maintain my strength. Mentally, it provides me with an interesting challenge and is a good way to relieve any frustrations which I have from school. I really love basketball.

Calculus Is Difficult

The day after tomorrow, it will be our middle-term examination of Calculus. This subject is similar to Math, in other words, it is a part of Math. The most two important sections of Calculus are differentiation and integration by which we solve kind of problems like measuring areas and proof physics laws. At first, I think it is very hard for me, but when I study it by high school's experience, I understand it easily. Now, hope me getting a good grade in this exam.

Mah-jong Is Fun

Recently, our electronic department began toplay mah-jong. Beacuse we always played computer games in the evening before, and sometime we went to change our amusement. At first, I didn't played very well since I was a beginner. Even though, my fortune was so good that I often won the game. My classmates were shocked by me. I think it is a kind of lucky for beginner, isn't it?

Tomb Sweeping Day

Today is Tomb Sweeping Day.People usually clean their ancestors' tomb in this day. In this morning , I come to Changhua to visit my grandma . she is near 90 ,but still looks healthy. I feel she is happy because of seeing my old brother and me . Now, she is living this house lonely .If it has chances, I will visit her often.

WOW Is Coming

Today,the most fashion online game "World of Warcraft" finally updates version,including addition new maps , new races and new game type . Many taiwan's player have been expected this day for a long time , because WOW is different form other online games made by korea. I think that the most attractive reason is interaction with other players

A Moving Story

These day , I use compuer to read a electronic novel . Differ form general novels , electronic novels include dynamic pictures and music extra. And the story is about familial emotions.The leading man how to help the leading lady complete her dream and finally get marriage.Of course, it happens a lot of things in the course of their schoolday,including happiness or saddness.I think that love can become familial emotions at last. The real moving is not the short love but the long family emotions.

Hair Style

In senior high school , students' hair style always retricted by school discipline. At college, I can change my hair style following my thinking. At first , I can make it become longer,or change hair color.I think that hair style affect people's look good or not.Even thought , sometime I am tired to dress my hair in every morning, it lets me be looked so funny.In conclusion , natural is beauty.All we have to do is make ourselve!

A Well-paid Job

This Sunday,I had to finish a job in Chang Gung University.It was that I needed to help school guards control traffic, because today was postgraduate entrance exam. I got up at 5:30am and went to office of general affairs taking our breakfast and uniform. Unfortunately, it was raining heavily,so I could not but wear the raincoat while it was very uncomfortable.After, I got the salary NT$1350 dollars. It was a nice day.
